Saturday 28 August 1880, The Maitland Mercury & Hunter River General Advertiser

(From the Government Gazette, Aug. 24.)

At Glen Innes, on the 15th day of August, 1880,
from Beardy Farm, by Geo. Witcomb, Esq., sum due  
at date of notice, 7s 6d :—

Red steer, white face, like diamond near ribs, like
G near rump, piece out near ear, 2 years.

If not released, will be sold at this pound at noon
on the first Thursday, fourteen days after this pub-
lication.  


At Tamworth, on the 14th day of August, 1880,
from Moore Creek, by Mr. Drinkwater; sum due at  
date of notice, 13s 6d :—

Roan mare, JR over O ever DL near shoulder,
star, saddle-marked, near hind foot white, aged, 15¼
hands.

If not released, will be sold at this pound at noon
on the first Thursday fourteen days after this publi-
cation.
