BUSHRANGING AT BLACK MOUNTAIN.

Sydney, 11th October.

The two men, Elliott and Carr, who were charged with having stuck up Scott’s hotel at Black Mountain, and stolen £100, were tried yesterday at Armidale. The case against the prisoners was particularly weak, but
Judge Windeyer’s summing up was unfavorable to them. The jury, however, brought in a verdict of not guilty. – Age.
